I never said that the earth was level.

The "if the earth were level" calculation shows that all that is required to have the waters of the flood recede is to raise the mountains from the height they were before the flood and increase the depth of the oceans from what it was before the flood.

The earth was never flat, but the mountains were lower before the flood.
The oceans always existed but they were less deep before the flood.

So you want to take stock in an unproven notion because you have magicked a way for it to feasibly take place? I want the Force to be real, but no matter how hard I try, I cannot make my coffee mug fly into my hand from across the room.
