I agree. Instead of using logic and reasoning he just throws insults from afar. Best to be ignored because Insults don't count for anything for debates and actually just prove their lack of evidence and respect.

*sigh & a facepalm*

Actually, I've seen Min provide pages of compelling evidence time after time and argument after argument and you know what? ... every time you self-proclaimed sheep simply ignore it and spout some idiotic unproven pseudo science you learned from yet another sheep who got his doctorate in theology and gets off telling gullible half-wits lies that "prove" stories that were dreamed up 2500 years before they were plagiarized in a book that has been translated and edited thousands of times in an effort to gain universal control by means of "justified" murder, rape, slavery, sacrifice and genocide.

...yeah, after awhile, you just get tired of trying to reason with a dumb animal and call it the sheep that it is.

No, it isn't.

Quote:Because I don't except their history story of times that were prehistoric means I'm ignorant?

Yes. Yes it does ... because you base your opinions of their evidence on your beliefs rather than an objective look.

Quote:I believe you are mistaken.

Point made ..... you believe. And therefore, no one cares what you think.

.

What about sheep who got their doctorate in biology, astronomy, physics, or geology? Are they idiots too?
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Depends. If they spout the same unproven drivel you do ... than yes, they are.

From that logic, I conclude the astronomers are ignorant in saying that the universe is 14 billion years old. How do they come up with that number? It can't be because the observable universe is 45 billion lightyears away from us.

They don't say 14 billion. Some may round it off to 14 billion but most don't. The age of the universe to 4 significant figures is known to be 13.72 billion years. The value calculated from the Hubble constant (which isn't exactly constant) is 20 billion years. Since that value was first calculated there have been many advances that refined the value to 13.72. I suggest you get your mommy to get a good book on the age of the universe and read it to you.

I very well know that I was rounding. I didn't know the exact decamal so I rounded does it really make a difference? My arguement still stands.

If the earth is billions of years old, you get the same K-Ar you get if the earth is 6,000 years (4-5Billion) and you shouldn't get a C-14 at all, yet you do. All traces of C-14 should be gone. Yet not only is there enough C-14 to date, but it happens to come out to the near exact age the Bible implies the earth is. Do you think that's mere coincidence?

Dear oh dear, it really is rather sad that we have to teach you basic science before we can even start to have an intelligent conversation.

New Carbon 14 is produced every damn day when nitrogen atoms in the upper atmosphere are struck by cosmic rays.

It is an unstable(radiactive) isotope that decays to normal Carbon 12 with a half life of 5730 years.

Chemically it is the same as C12 and is therefore absorbed by plants and in turn ingested by animals.

The ratio of C14 to C12 stays pretty much the same during the lifetime of an organism due to normal bodily functions.

It is only when it dies and new carbon is no longer being ingested that the ratio starts to change as the C14 decays to C12.

That ratio is what Scientists measure to determine the age of a dead organism.

And if you had done some REAL research into the subject instead of just mindlessly regurgitating the mental diarrhoea that the disingenuous liars for jesus have tipped in your ear you would've known that.

The simple fact that we can see galaxies millions of light years distant proves that the universe is NOT 6000 years old.

Or do I have to teach you basic astronomy as well?
