Religious indoctrination of children

It's not indoctrination when you're teaching the love of the almighty Creator.

ROFLOL

It is indoctrination you fool.

Hume
Descartes
Spinoza
Marx
Russell
Sartre
Foucault
Chomsky

Sartre and Russell could both lay claim to finest Philosopher of the 20th century. The others, bar Chomsky were the finest of their generations too, in deeply religious times at that! Quite a feat, wouldn't you agree?

Darwin
Einstein
Schrodinger
Oppenheimer
Bohr
Hawking
Feynman
Susskind.

Are you now seeing how your weak claim fails? The 2 most important scientists of the last 300 years were atheists.

I would go as far as saying that had Newton been alive today, he too would be an atheist.

Newton an atheist? The guy that most likely died a virgin? Isn't the whole point of being an atheist so you can have lots of dirty sex without God looking over your shoulder?
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Well what would you expect from a religion preached by paedophiles?

That read a book that has Genesis in it which has been called a textbook for incest. Remember the GIGO principle? You know the one - Garbage in, garbage out - what did you expect?

And thats what you consider justification? What the fuck? How could anybody respect such a disgusting book.

Yes that happened in the past but thats why we move on. Now throw out the fucking bible and move on.

So if it has done no other any good it did for me, and I'm glad to have grown up to be a responsible adult.
Okay so as long as they don't die its all good? Thats completely fucked up. Once again archaic book with archaic morals.. Disgusting.

You should grow-up and become a responsible adult, here's for hoping.

This is a sad indictment of your parent's parenting skills and your character.

You have no idea what my parents were like, your disrespect for others shows how badly you listened to your parents. I'm grateful for my parents and their wonderful parenting abilities.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Nah, if they were wonderful parents, they would have aborted you at age 10.

You are in no position to critique anyone's parents G-C. From our perspective yours did you a great disservice. End of story.

They did not beat me, they punished me for disobeying them, they taught me to have respect for authority, something lacking within society today.

The standard defense of an abusive childhood - My parents weren't abusive, they gave me what I deserved.

I know they whipped you which is not good parenting, and I won't apologize for saying so.
