I didn't intend for this to be bullying. Mehmet is a big boy, I'm sure he can handle it.

I just found that pretty much every thread he posts in eventually turns into him arguing about Turkey being so awesome. Would it not be more constructive to have ONE thread where he can talk about it? Rather than infesting every other thread. Frankly he derails threads on a constant basis.

Its true, I don't think I've come across a single line of reasoning hes put forward that didn't end up turning into a "my countires the best" speech that goes on for several posts.
He definitely has an agenda he wants to push forward so why not save time and let him?

If I wanted to talk about my nation of "Turkey", which is not the name of the nation, by the way, but a country in which only a portion(60 million out of 200) of my nation lives in, I would do so.
I already did create a thread about nationalism and secularism where things about Turkish nationalism were discussed in full. But thank you for your consideration.

i tend to think he goes the other way, he tries to do the bullying. people should just ask general questions about turkey and they can have them answered here by a true nationalist.

have you ever cheered for allen iverson on the turkey basketball team? after his nba days here, he went over there for pennies on the dollar, but i hear he's quite popular. i wonder why tho, because he's a black american (you know, with the whole racial thing).

I do not watch sports, friend. Especially sports that have to do with balls. I know certain names, who do play in the NBA, but I do not really pay much attention to it, either way, he is playing for someone else.

I've already presented my views on that topic a number of times. I really am not very keen on repeating myself over and over. There is nothing more to be discussed about it.
But nationalism is a topic on which I have to be able to answer all and any accusations. I do admit that on some occasions I did start discussions, but in that thread, and in the thread about dictators/leaders, I have not started any external debates, merely answered them. Similarly, I recall doing the same in other threads.
