Social control, by those in power and to retain the power.

Yeah, right. Like you didn't vote for a candidate who was pro-life, anti-gay rights, pro-death penalty and pro-teaching-creationism - basically the guy who wanted to bring "god back in the government".

I vote just like you do, for the one who best represents my views, yet you try to make me look like a criminal, it's my right, given to me by the government to vote as I see best for this nation.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

You will vote for the white guy with a similar religion, that does anything he can possibly do to look like a follower of god. You theist are as fake as celebs.

I don't vote.

You mean the views that have as a result of your religion.

No, not a criminal - just controlled. Which is fine, you have a right to be controlled if you so wish.

Forgot to mention Obama is black and that's a no no in the bible. Who else is he going to vote for? Never mind the fact they both have similar backgrounds and both belong to the same elitist group.

So, what, is your pastor a cat or something?

How do you know about christ and that he is your shepherd and his purpose?

Gullibility is not unique to believers....I notice a lot of American atheists are quite gullible as well such as those who believe in the Jesus myth cookie cutter formula....aka just copy the same key facts and keep on applying it to gods from other religions.....the actual stories have nothing in common with those "facts," but given how many times I have seen them used, there must be plenty of idiots that believe it.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

So you are saying we are wrong for believing Jesus is a myth as well as believing all other god's or religions are mythical or made up in nature? If we rejected the christian bible as truth even though it is the only literal text of god wouldn't that imply that the other religions and gods are wrong also? Or are you saying that we can dismiss christian religion but not others for they may be right?

Of course it's not unique to believers, anyone can be gullible, but that doesn't change the fact that it's basically a requirement of belief.

Some atheists are gullible
All Christians are gullible, with the exception of those that are ignorant or naive.
