Then he should have bothered to reply to me before he went all obvious troll to clear up the point he was trying to make. At no point did he mention the word generally.

That sounded to me like he was just saying all games on PC have higher skill ceilings.

To me, one doesn't have to say "generally" when making a claim like that, for me to just assume that's what they mean. Meh.

No, it really wouldn't, because those games can't be compared with console, as they are not on console.

It's impossible for you to know that these games have higher skill ceilings, as until they are ported over to console, you have nothing to compare them against. Unless you like comparing apples with oranges. It doesn't prove anything by simply saying minesweeper is hard to someone who plays crosswords.

Oh, and you can click the green arrow in the quotes. No need to actually give the url link.

Pacman compared to LoL. Which has a higher skill ceiling? You can compare different games, on different consoles, when comparing the capacity for skill they allow.

My point still stands.

You can't compare the 2. You may rock at lol but somebody who bosses PacMan is going to write rude words in your high score list.

In a limited sense. How could you possibly know the top skill level of every game on every platform? I think its a ridiculous thing to try and compare.

So which is harder Pac Man or LoL? Feel free to explain why.

Depends on who you're playing against on LoL. I'm not arguing which is harder, though.

LoL undoubtedly allows for more growth as a player (skill.)

And you think you could beat the highscore of the worlds best Pacman player?

Higher skill ceilings, whatever you know what we mean.

Quote:LoL undoubtedly allows for more growth as a player (skill.)

And why is that? How does this mean it allows for a higher skill ceiling? The way I see it someone who can complete pac man has more skill than someone who plays LoL. It's subjective either way. When comparing two players on the same game on different systems, then it's not subjective, because you can actually compare the performances in an equal manner.

Nope.

I could do it before I become better than the word's best LoL players, though. (Actually, that's probably not true, considering beating the best score in pacman is more about how much days you're ready to waste, than how much skill you can employ - and I don't care enough about pacman to play it for days straight.)
