This is meant as constructive criticism btw, but I'm pretty sure it will fuck everyone off. Can't go against the mob.

See... when you post vapid nonsense, you should expect a vapid response. Don't be declaring it anything more than it is: whining.

You wouldn't believe how often I do things like that intending to rib/show my love for certain members...

And it goes completely unnoticed. Sad

We're open to suggestions. The Off Topic forum isn't the most popular though; according to the stats, the Christianity forum is.

Edit: Oh yeah, and the reason your thread was ignored is because there was already a thread discussing that subject, and it was much larger and more popular. There is no reason to create a new thread for something that is already being discussed, unless discussion in that thread has veered off-topic, which I don't believe it had in your case.

Actually the 'thread' was only a link, which is a lazy cop-out as far as I'm concerned. I don't respond to links. There is also a comment that comes up if a thread hasn't been commented on for more than a specified time, which suggests starting a new thread. This is clearly a cliquey little in-group of people who belong in a chatroom, not a site that purports to be an 'atheist forum'. If a certain self-proclaimed 'highly spiritual', yet confusingly popular poster who appears to have no life except on here would shut up for once, I'm sure the forum would improve about 60 per cent. That's not likely to happen. I get paid to write in the 'real' world. I also have a friend who writes brilliantly on a multitude of topics and has degrees in both physics and law who wanted to write on here too, but all the juvenile crap put him off. Clearly this 'chatroom' isn't for me, and it's obvious you don't welcome outsiders. @Violet Your response didn't disappoint. Entirely expected lol.

Sure, but I think a mod asked you if you would move over to the other thread. Also if you have read the thread maybe what you wanted to cover had already been discussed.

Your more than welcome to join the clique Tongue I thought you were in on the banter last night. People can be a bit blunt but everyone's in good spirits I think.

We has lots of atheists on a forum. I think it fits the requirements of an atheist forum.

I doubt that. Were would the fun be?

Thats nice.

Meh, maybe you should both actually look around. This entire time there's been several ongoing debates on here. You seem to be attracted to the threads where people are being casual.

A link to the thread you yourself was too lazy to search for.

What a loss.

What part of you're more than welcome to join us in times of seriousness and silliness do you consider unwelcoming towards 'outsiders'?

You know, with that enormous stick up your butt, it's a wonder that the A plussers threw you out. To me it seems you would fit in nicely with them.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Which is hilarious, because it saves time, space, and needless copy/pasting and plagiarism. All the better if it's links to evidence... suddenly your behavior makes a lot more sense: he responds with stupidity because he REFUSES to learn anything.

And everything just meshes together Thinking

This site is several years old now, and there are members who haven't been here in as many as 4 years. If you post on a thread with its last post in 2009: 7/10s of the people in that thread are no longer here, and cannot respond to your 2013 post because of that.

Atheism+, on the other hand, is a current thread. http://atheistforums.org/thread-14449.html It has 30 fucking pages of content, discussion, and even some debate. To avoid irritations like you seem to be plagued with, i would recommend you use our search feature http://atheistforums.org/search.php Smile

Oh that's right... you don't click on links.

Funny stuff, kid... because I'm often absent for months at a time. If you're going to call a member out: use their name. This isn't high school.

Considering that me and 90% of the forum goers agree on next-to-nothing: I'd say you're just being paranoid about this little 'clique' that you pretend exists.

Mostly... it boils down to this: I do not respect you, and you've yet to give me a reason to.

I get paid to suck men off in the 'real' world. I also have a friend who writes brilliantly on a multitude of topics and has degrees in computer sciences and information security... but he likes it here, and likes to have some fun now and again Smile

Clearly, this forum is *exactly* for you, since we have a million different people crying about everything under the mighty sky lantern. We welcome outsiders so openly it's nearly vomit-inducing from the vertigo.

@JoySqueezy: your posts do disappoint me... you hide behind your friends, and you claim intelligence that you've yet to demonstrate. And yet, I expect naught more from you, good luck in your life with your dainty little pampered skin.

But you know Lil, passive-aggressiveness is so chic and intelligent, we juvenile idiots just don't get it.
