That's so true! Unfortunately, we've accepted gender roles for too long, and this makes it much harder to get rid of. Though I'm optimistic by the LGBT movement, it should help in this regard.

First of all, your shouldn't say "وعليكم السلام"/"Peace be upon you" to an infidel, you should only say "وعليكم"/"You too" according to islamic laws Big Grin.

Second of all, I have to say that I'm a little intimidated by your knowledge about Arabic. Do you belong to the mossad or something? Big Grin Just kidding! I actually admire your multilingual skills! (I did my research Wink)

Yeah. My heart goes to those in the UK right now who are labeled as muslims but are not. On the one hand, they are afraid to be harassed by brits as a revenge for the horrible beheading that occurred two days ago. On the other hand, they can't publicly announce their apostasy, otherwise they might be killed by muslims. It's a lose/lose situation.
