So, you are scared to die. Why? Once you die, you won't remember what it was like to live. Won't miss it. Think about it. If you live right now like if you could die a little later, you could live life in the most extraordinary way. It would be the best way possible to live your last moments over and over again. Life is too short to waste it on being afraid of its ending. The beginning happened. So focus on the filling. That's all life is. Filling. Any type. You pick. Isn't that exciting?

What? You call that heroic? Well when I was younger we used to be tortured for days before we were killed outright. Never complained a bit either. That's just how heroic we were. Hell sometimes we would tell jokes as were going out just to show how little a shit we gave.

we used to dream of being tortured for days before being killed outright, we had it really tough, we had to watch our friends and family being tortured and killed, while going through sleep deprivation and mental torture for years up to the point of dying of natural causes while begging to be killed.

C'mon guys. Death is a frightening idea. Sometimes the idea of non-existence even keeps me up at night when I think too much about it. Accepting the fact that something is inevitable doesn't make it less scary somehow. Nor does it make the idea of an afterlife anymore realistic.

Maybe not to you.

we thankfully all get to choose for ourselves how we think.

I accept the inevitable... don't really care. It is certain so why lose time pining for or over it...

I have better things to do with my time than dwell on death. Like come make forum posts for no reason. Still better than wasting life thinking about death.

You can't do a thing about dying so it's a huge waste of time worrying about it. From time to time I used to think about dying then waking up in a coffin, That's what i get for reading Poe.
