You know, I'm all for reform for these types of programs to reduce abuse and quit spending money on people that simply wish to live off of the government teat. (I can't tell you how many people in my town are on food stamps but also own smart phones.)

You seem to be ignorant of the pre-existing condition portion of Obama Care...the insurance company can't deny coverage, but there is no cap on what they can charge....what changed?

We're now going to defund MediCare so that poor people that can't afford insurance have to pay money to the IRS as a penalty. The added bonus is that they still don't get medical coverage.

The suspicious ones are the food stamp card using fucks dressed to the nines on a Tuesday morning. Worse, their toddlers will be half naked, snot rolling on their cheeks unattended. Oh, don't get me wrong. The Affordable Care Act is very far from perfect. It should be National Health Insurance and paid for by tax dollars.

So they're proposing to cut 5% of what has doubled mostly under Obama, and the 5% is achieved by not giving food stamps indefinitely to healthy individual adults, stricter work requirements should the states choose to do so and (obnoxious yes) drug testing . It doubles, they cut it by 5%, so it's still nearly doubled. Ooooh save us from the drastic austerity. Stop acting.
