He was a great man, he will be missed. At least he isn't in a vegetative state anymore.
What are your thoughts on this great man's life?

Too bad his corpse is likely to be disposed of before it could be properly dragged through Lebanese streets and be danced upon.

he was certainly a great man who also did questionable things. His early life in the Irgun when he advocated attacking British soldiers during WW2 is pretty appalling however his later actions were very impressive.
Criticizing someone who happens to be Jewish is fine. Singling out Israel when it is surrounded by countries with much worse records is ,however, gross evidence of antisemitism. RE: Ariel Sharon Dies at 85

My rule of thumb: unless someone actually comes out and says something that specifically mentions race in some derogatory way, don't play the racism card.
