Oh fuck, things are really tense now! Panic
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Why are you worried, fin? Don't think you can beat them back? Sleepy
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

Us? Interfere?

RE: Russian forces occupy the Crimea.
About 100 years ago, my ancestors left Crimea, their motherland, for Turkey in order to flee the oppression of communism. The remaining of my kin were exiled upon the conclusion of WWII by Stalin. Now, Russia invades with the support of the pro-Russian separatists and my kin sides with the Ukrainians. We yet again face great dangers.
What is the proper course to take now? My country will as always, probably look while we face a second exile, as we did in the aftermath of WWII.

Tatar(though I prefer the term "Crimean Turk" or Kırım Türkü"). My father's family were from Bakhchesaray. Though we're not from the coastal areas.

Prior to the Sürgünlik, and now after, Crimea has been a pawn in Russia's games for centuries.

Well, how else would you explain that the majority of Crimea are ethnic Russians? The doing of Stalin, he sent the Tatars away to die, and brought in the Russians.
Well, perhaps I'm overreacting, and there is nothing to fear.
Even if, the fact that Russia is again playing the big bully is a matter of concern for me.
