Okay, so an "explosion of nothing" is incorrect. But whatever did explode, where did that come from? And whatever created that, where did that come from?

There are several points in the OP that lead me to believe you haven't read up as much as you'd like us to think. For example, "if evolution did happen." If you've read anything about evolution, you'd know it's happenING. Also, atheism means a lack of belief in deities. It says nothing about science. But, screw it. There's nothing to discuss here, really. Mental masturbation, maybe?

I meant, if the evolution that created the left we see today happened. I was referring to evolution of the past. Also, I didn't feel like saying "evolutionists" twenty times. I'm sorry.

Or we could talk about the abundance of transitional fossils showing the evolution of whales from their land based ancestors. That is spectacularly represented in the fossil record.

I would like to see pictures of these fossils.

Also, there a several million different kinds of creatures on this planet. The lack of transitional fossils showing the evolution of these creatures is, in my opinion, a small bit of evidence against evolution. You don't think so. I do. Our arguments cancel out.

To come someplace new and automatically demand respect is sort of silly. I am new here, and even though I'm an atheist, I still would expect to put in some time, properly and coherently argue some points, and then maybe some people will come to expect certain things from me. Respect is earned, not given, as the saying goes.

Also, your post was extremely defensive and dismissive. Why be surprised when you get what you expected? There are many people on here with all sorts of beliefs. Those that come here with the intent to proselytize don't get treated well, those that come here and post statements with no intent on discourse don't get treated well, but those that come here with questions they are honestly willing to have an intelligent conversation about actually get treated pretty well.

But remember where you are. This is a forum for atheists. You came here, posted this diatribe, and asked us not to try to change your mind. That is patently ridiculous.
