The APA was talking about homosexuality in both men and women, and there are a lot of incidents of domestic violence in both homosexual male and female relationships. It is not evidence in support of the idea that homosexuality is a disorder. There's a lot of incidents of domestic violence in low socioeconomic status (SES) households as well, but we don't call poverty a disorder.
