Of course it is! But touch is the most accurate sense I have. I have no sight, I can be fooled with a recording, smell and taste are probably not going to relavent in my assessment, so I have touch. And I think I'm competent enough to decide if what I'm touch is a god or a sheep! Someone can hand me a ball and tell me it's a cube but I'll know the difference.

But is your sense of touch competent enough to discern the difference between a human who feels like a human and a god who feels like a human? Anyone can walk up to you, claim divinity, and state "touch me, for I am divine." You simply cannot trust the person's claim to divinity based on your sense of touch alone.

For someone who is blind, I suppose the truth of one's divinity would have to first be ascertained by those in the scientific community who are trustworthy.
