We could establish a motive for nearly anything. I'd really like to hear from them what their motives/excuses for discriminating homosexuals are. To spread the wonderful and divine message of Jesus Christ? Give me a break.

Don't read youtube comments.
Are that your own rules? I will agree with them with this little amendment included:
Rule 1: Don't read YouTube comments
Rule 2: Ignore rule 1

But God is never wrong .. and since they're acting on His behalf .. and are not particularly insightful regarding their own role .. well .. never mind.

They're the rules laid down by the Geneva convention of Youtube advisement and public awareness of internet opinions.

Clearly god-loving christians. I especially like how the mom says that she won't have OTHER PEOPLE thinking that she condones her son's lifestyle. Who cares what god says, this mom cares what her fellow loving christians think. Pathetic.

Right?
I especially love the part....
"I have known you were gay since you were a little boy."
"Then you would know at this point it's not a choice."
...(a few seconds of silence)...
"And when you made that choice...."

Holy crap on a cracker, do these people never listen to what is being said? Or do they just insist on pushing the train forward even when everyone else is yelling that the bridge is out, because they're just too stubborn to think that they might be, oh, I don't know... wrong?

Yeah, I'm not sure how she could go from realizing he was gay since he was little, to saying it's just a choice. It started out sounding rational and mature.

I'm not sure what he put on facebook, but the dad/stepdad certainly took it the wrong way.

Most christians may not be sacrificing their kids on altars for their god, but this is a close second.

Sigh, I cannot watch this video. I cannot accept amount of stupidity involved to ignore your own child. Then again their bible says to do it....unless you actually study it and realize it never condemns homosexuality in the new testament. Sigh we need more opposition.

I wish the kid publish the identity of his parents. You know so we can know who are they. Like that video of that lady being all racist in a parking lot. Later I saw a video of that same lady claiming to be the victim and that the dude who filmed her ruined her life. Because the media and public opinion beat the crap out of her. So I wish the same thing happened with this kids parents. Let's see if they have the guts to still say what they say in front of a bunch of people that don't belong to their congregation.

Given how one of them reacted to whatever the boy posted on facebook, I'd say they'd have big problems with this video.

If his parents could get away with it, they probably would have stoned him to death, well that's what they did back in the old days, a packet of gravel anyone ?.

Ryan can you cut your religious views comment down to a manageable size? We get it you a clever, mold breaking snow flake, but for the sake of the older people (40 and above) who can't seem to figure out how to resize your posts to read them.. Please limit your post flare to a size that allows for at least some of your content to be read without any great effort.

Please, and thank you.
