How many churches in your town?

My little town in the US has 50,000 people last I checked.
We have a church on every corner it seems. I think most of them are virtually empty on Sundays. We couldn't fill-up all these churches - even if we had 100% attendance. I suspect the churches stay open so the landowner can avoid paying property taxes until the lot is sold to a developer. According to churchfinder.com we have 63 churches (1 per 800 residents): 26 Baptist 8 Catholic 4 Lutheran 4 Methodist 3 Episcopal 8 "Spirit Filled" 10 "Other" We also have a 2 synagogues and 1 mosque. 
I don't know about my town, but in the suburb I currently live in there are at least four churches and a Buddhist temple.

I think my town may be near the top of the list for church density.
Population: 5800. Total churches/religious orgs: 21. Boru

Edit, that was Christian. In the yellow pages I found three mosques, five synagogues, and one Buddhist temple.
Holy crap. Imagine all the homeless shelters you could build on all this real estate. But no... That might be something Jebus would do.
