We did nothing but. You on the other hand are doing the common christian tap dance. Dodge, dodge, dodge some more and sneak a little bit of preaching and apologist/creationist bullshit in.

And, btw, I find it rather rich to barge in here and demand to shut our mouths. I try to remember that when the next invitation to some event comes up. I'm sure, telling the host to shut up will work like a charm.

In all seriousness, I could care less if I get banned.  I know if I go over to the Islamic forum, I would get banned for sure after I have educated myself about their religion.  I mainly stumbled on this website because I was actually doing a search on Fappy, the Anti-Masturbation Dolphin who happens to be a sick individual. I thought ok.  I will sign up, I can abide by the rules. Well apparently, I don't know how.  I mainly came on this site just to see how stupid people really are and have myself a good laugh, especially the satanist one here threatening to sick her demons and Satan after me and telling me to basically convert.  Just like some of you think of Christians as nut-jobs, turns out you don't have to believe and still be an nut-job like that Satanist.  No I don't dodge nothing.  Give me what you got if you feel like it.

In all seriousness, you are about as gullible as they come.

Speaking of stupid, if you didn't get the "satanist one" having you on, you're a finalist for winner in that category. That's a tall order, since you have serious competition in your camp.

No, you won't get banned for simply being obnoxious, ignorant and arrogant. Takes a bit more hereabouts. But going by your posts, I know you don't understand that, since a bigot usually expects everyone else to be bigoted also. Makes it easier to look in the mirror.

Not the case at all. If the theory of evolution was proven to be wrong, we would then have an absence of an efficient model for a time. Scientists would either reform hypotheses based on the current ones to try and take into account the new information, or (drastic and unlikely) form entirely new hypotheses from scratch. They would then test and retest these, until a new stable and reliable model was agreed upon.

What they would not do is say, "Oh well, we can't explain it with science at the moment, so it was done by magic, by a god." That's just absolutely ridiculous, it's no explanation at all. It's giving up on reality and telling stories instead.

I doubt there's a single atheist on this site who would automatically believe in God (let alone worship it also) just because a scientific theory was proved to be wrong. God is irrelevant, because it's not even a hypothesis. It's a fairy tale, until such time as it can be defined and made testable.

Since you brought up evolution and creationism, I will ask a question.  There are some theists who actually believe both is true.  The creation in the Bible does not say on the scientific end of how God did create the universe, humans, etc.  No one knows how long the days were in the beginning.  Time may have existed, but I was not there personally just like anyone else in existence today.  What is your take on the theists who combine both?

Fight against your irrelevance, your agony sustains me.

Right along with me.  I can also succeed with or without you.  As far as my agony, who said I was in agony?  I did not say I was in agony.  Are you sure you are not in self-denial?  After all, everyone goes through it at some point or another.

I am not taking anyone seriously on here.  However RocketSurgeon has shown a descent side of humanity.  Many others on here attack me which really does not  bother me cause because in the end, you all don't pay my bills.

Blondie - I'm having an extremely busy day, today, so I'm only popping in and out sporadically, and soon I'm going to have a long errand to go run for the business, so I'll try to provide some warning when the call comes in. That said, I want to address something you mentioned earlier.

You said that Neandertals don't provide evidence of common ancestry because they're too much like us. That's true!

Neandertals are our cousins, not our grandparents, so to speak. They are descended from a species that split off from our ancestors, and developed into them [Neandertals], while we stayed in Africa and kept heading in the direction we went, as I described before. They're very like us, but have their own unique set of characteristics. But they are definitely NOT our ancestors. However, by the time the Neandertal descendants met the first humans moving into Eurasia, the divergence had not gone so far as to prevent interbreeding, and we have evidence that 1% to 3% of European and Asian genes were contributed by Neandertals interbreeding with us, occasionally.

The problem we face is that it's not a linear graph, like A->B->C->D->Us.

Think of the grandparents-cousins description, I gave before, in the case of your own family tree. If you have siblings, take your mom and draw a splitting arrow down from her to each of her kids, including you. You represent Human beings, here. Your mom represents our immediate ancestors, still pretty much just like us. Your siblings represent the different sub-groups of humans (the different mtDNA lineages, including racial clustering, with which you seem to already be familiar) that exist now. Your mom also has a parent and siblings, presumably, so you'd draw them on the board, with connecting arrows from each parent to child. You can now trace back up through your grandfather and back down to every one of your cousins, just by choosing different "branches" of species direction, when groups split off.

If you keep doing this, back and back, generation after generation, pretty soon you could trace yourself (eventually) to every human being on earth.

But sticking with all the family members you can remember, as many generations back as your family knows. Got that image? Okay, now imagine that you left that board in a room, and an earthquake came and shattered the board into individual drawings of people with a few lines left, but most of it was destroyed, in-between. You can see clearly that it's a family tree, and you can see that some are supposed to connect to others, but because so many are missing, it can be tough and tedious work to figure out which connects with which to get to you and only you. Yet with careful work and comparisons of the shattered edges, it can be done.

The fossil record is like this. We have many, many puzzle-pieces, and we've done a remarkable job of assembling the pieces. Some patches are missing, and other patches have too many pieces that are potential candidates to fit into that slot, but we don't have enough evidence to prove which one is the "right" piece that went there originally. But we do have the pieces, and we do know what the overall picture looks like from the ones we've already managed to figure out.

Then someone comes along and tells you that there is no puzzle, that the pieces were never found, even though you're looking right at it, and the obvious "family tree" pattern that has emerged as you figure out where everything fits.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

RE: What are the evidence for no god?
Oops! Forgot to answer the question. For Christians who accept evolution as 100% true (about half of modern biologists and other scientists are Believers of some sort, and many of those are Christian), it's a matter of seeing evolution by natural selection as the mechanism by which life was made and shaped on earth... in other words, Creation isn't a magical thing that happened in 6 days, 6000 years ago, it's a natural process the Creator set up 13.77 billion years ago and which is still operating by the rules He set up, way back then, knowing all this would happen. In my view, that's a much, much more grand view of Creation than a petty little Bronze Age tribal deity who has to come down and stick his magical fingers in the clay and sculpt humans like pottery.

Not all Christians are retarded or stupid.  Some Christians actually got an education beyond high school.  So why do you think that all Christians are stupid?  Just because of the belief does not mean they are stupid because you say so.  Some of them probably have more of an education that you will ever have.

I'm sure they do.

Do you see how broad generalizations can be offensive now?

By the way, I thought you'd said goodbye. And I'd thought you said you didn't care what anyone thought.
