No, I don't think he's necessarily a shitposter. What I do think is that it's likely to end in a state where the person who volunteered to moderate it regrets doing so.

I do because, look and how he reacted to me proposing the topic. So this tells me he has a routine. So now I predict he will refuse to define a God in which case I can debate a undefined variable, Or he will attempt to define God with essentially a non answer, eg. A omnipotent and omniscient being. Yeah, I've been at this too long.

I'm happy to define God, but I'm not sure if it should be done prior to the actual debate or if it should just be done during the opening statement. If I define God, you may disagree, and then I don't know where to go from there. I'm not redefining God, and I think we all know what God is, so this shouldn't be a hurdle that gets in the way.

"I think we all know what God is" is the definition of God. That is the problem. It's why I'm ignostic.

I would say there is no initial opening statement for the atheist position, since it's entirely a response to theistic claims. So sure, you could define what it means in your opening statement. It would then make sense for the atheist's opening statement to be a reply to that statement. Otherwise the atheist is just guessing at whatever you might mean by "God".

This is all just my opinion, of course. I in no way mean to dictate how the debate will go.

PS: Also, the atheist wouldn't necessity even be arguing that "there is no God", only that any case for God that has been put forward is not supported.
