Indeed.

But don't become an atheist. That's like jumping out of a bucket of shit into an ocean of shit.

My point was that a rational Skeptic and atheist won't dismiss religion as bullshit. That's just dogma.

There are no facts demonstrating religion is bs.
bold mine.
Actually, your reply to my comment, was not substantive enough. It lacked any sort of intelligence. Hence, your derail. See the first quote of yours above. Where does it state anywhere in your first reply to me, that you are talking about a rational skeptic and an atheist dismissing religion as bullshit.

See, you'd like to have intelligent conversations, but you fail miserably to possess that which you claim no one else here has. When you start insulting other people's intelligence on here and you can't even make a decent argument of your own (let alone fail to use the word "you're" correctly in a sentence), it causes one to question your own lack of intelligence.

If what I said lacked intelligence and what I said just mirrored yours... Connect the dots.

That was my point.

We can have a conversation about whether it's true that religion and/or atheism is bullshit but first things first.

It's like trying to milk a rock on this forum.

You might have the time and motivation. Go for it.

RE: Christian hypocricy?
Having slogged through all these posts showing me the posts of the only person I currently have on ignore, I have to say it was a little painful. I don't believe inDelicate is the person who derailed this thread. His first post was a vapid attempt at humor as so many are, my own included. You were the first one to make it personal, Judi, and then were quick to accuse the one whose posts I must not see of being the derailer. I'm not a big fan of driving people we disagree with away from the forums, especially not if it is necessary to bait them into bad behavior to get it done.

Hope you have a better day from here on, Judi.

I believe Christians are hypocritacal sometimes same as other people are.

Like many, some of hte more "extremist" Christians are perfectly fine castigating and "judging" others as long as people they love or care about aren't harmed.

The minute friends or family misbehave or violate the bible ( see Jeb!'s trashy kids) they suddenly want a change.

Seriously. I believe 2/3s of the whole "castigating sinners" is just people demonizing and marginalizing people who are different or "alien" to them.

In one thread you're defending Christians.  In another, you attack them.  In another, you're a racist. You ask what we think about Hitler and demon possession and Che Guevara.  (The thread that praised missionaries for using little African children as slaves was pretty epic though. That was a pretty decent trollish attempt to elicit a response.) You have confessed to being a troll.
With each "shit and run" two word question mark thread you dig your troll hole a little deeper.  No one here has any reason to respond to you, since you have provided so many differing "faces" that our only reasonable conclusion is to assume that they are all false.  You probably browse through the National Enquirer to come up with new posts.

This particular post is not an improvement.  It's just stating the obvious.  And you're still just calling some Christians hypocrites.  Well, DUH.  That all you got?  (yawn)

I hear you. I've listened. And I also pointed out in a later post that delicate wasn't the first one responsible for derailing the thread, as I had earlier stated. My bad on that, and I owned it. However, my first post was a direct post to TC and I asked two questions pertaining to the topic started.

It is difficult to take anything delicate says, as humor because he goes out of his way to intentionally troll. Now, I have sat in this stupid hospital since 5:30 this morning. Most of the time, I have been floating between three threads and in all three threads, delicate has caused issues. In. All. Three. This is a pattern. And it isn't the first time. Delicate habitually shits in every thread he posts in and even though you may have him on ignore, you can see exactly what I'm referring to.

Whatevs, you're one of my favorites and I appreciate your honesty with this. When I'm wrong, I admit it. And I have already done that in a prior post. Please don't make this out to look like he's some sort of innocent in anything. Did he derail the thread first? No, he sure didn't. But he's spent numerous pages contributing nothing worthwhile to the post, where as my first post to this thread WAS on topic. I didn't need his sarcasm and his bullshit. It wasn't funny. If it was supposed to be funny, I saw no emoticons showing the supposed humor.

You and I both know that tone and inflection are impossible to read. I have a hard time believing that delicates first post was supposed to be funny. In several pages, he fails miserably to say so.
