Yeah, well I spent the better part of my life "praying" to release the power of your god. He didn't do shit for me other than provide nothing. It's all a sham and if you believe it, that's fine for you, but for me, that shit doesn't work.

Releases it from what? What can constrain his power?

No it does not. It is simply a superstition you fell for, and unfortunately that false perception can have a real effect on your brain chemistry which does release Endorphins. You can have the same intense feelings thinking about a loved one or pet. It is nothing real at all. It is the same false perception a kid gets thinking about getting presents from Santa at Christmas. If you want to believe in a god badly enough you will, just as much as any Muslim or Jew wants to pray to their god too.

The only thing god belief requires is gullibility.

I might as well pray to a milk jug.  If god truly existed, I would not need to have people such as you tell me that he/she/it does exist.  Pray to god to heal 1,000 adult amputees; he/she/it can even pick which ones.  I'll even give him/her/it a week to perform the miracle; after that, I'll believe in your god.  For me, I'll be meeting you half-way on this one.

You actually didn't respond to my statement. Why should God restore limbs, is there some law that says He should. You want miracles find a 1000 amputees, they are alive because God healed them. You can't demand that God do as you want and get a response.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

You have to learn how and what to pray, the scriptures teach us these things, did you study about prayer? Did you just go and ask God for things. Were you ready for an answer, whether it be yes or no? Did you pray within God's will? Were you in a good relationship with God when you prayed?

Your disobedience, lack of faith, selfish prayer and ect. It's not constrained it's just not released.

Sorry bubba, but I've seen answered prayer over and over and there is nothing as heart warming as to see God's power released through answered prayer. Just because you haven't experienced answered prayer doesn't mean it doesn't happen. No matter how badly you want God not to be real it want help.

My lack of faith and disobedience can stifle god's ability to act?

Wow, I am way more powerful than I thought.

Isn't that what prayer is, though, a demand, or, at least a request, for god to do something?  Are you saying that it is "wrong" for an amputee to pray to god to restore his/her lost limb?
