A GOOD and funny rendition of Half Life (the original computer game). Get witty writers and a charismatic Gordon Freeman, and it'd be epic.

I struggled with this actually, but I consider it to be. Maybe not in the traditional sense. It's got time travel.
If I had to replace it with something more traditional it would probably be replaced with Minority Report, Interstellar, or Prometheus.

Haha. Yea, I get that a lot. I never understood the hate. I like that it questioned the origins of humanity, and it answered the questions I've had since I first watched the original two alien movies in the early 90's. That being, what species was the space jockey and where did the xenomorphs come from? I'll still take a legitimate movie in the actual alien series, but I like Prometheus as it's own thing within the same universe. I also like Alien 3 and wish they would just start Alien Resurrection and start something new instead of keeping Ripley alive. She had a good and heroic run, no need to cling to the past.
