Trump-supporting Tea Partier stuns CNN host by saying the president-elect is on the verge of treason

“I’m outraged at the lack of outrage, especially on my side, the Republican side,” Walsh told CNN’s Brooke Baldwin. “I get that the country is divided, but my god: a foreign government interfered with our election. That should piss everybody off.”
Walsh iterated several of the talking points he made earlier Monday on Twitter, ripping into the partisan reaction to the CIA assessment. “It’s like because our guy won, Trump won, we’re going to keep our mouths shut,” Walsh said. “I mean that’s just so wrong.”
Walsh argued there’s “no debate” that Russia attempted to influence the election in favor of Trump.”

Someone should remind him that with the Republicans stripping the vote from over 7m citizens, they decided that treason was the way to go a long time ago.

Trump cancels major Thursday press conference on how he will handle his businesses

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has delayed until January an announcement on how he plans to step back from running his business empire to avoid conflicts of interest, his spokesman said on Monday.

This is the kind of thing more attention needs to be paid to. A businessman is going to hold the highest office in the nation --and one of the most powerful, if not THE most powerful, political offices on the planet-- and it seems clear that he wants to have his cake and eat it, too. It would not surprise me if he canceled that press conference when someone told him that "I'm gonna let the kids run the business, honest" is not enough. And I'll bet it's killing him to think that he may have to hand over the keys to his empire to anyone else, even his kids. He's probably worried that they'll fuck him over the first chance he'll get because, after all, they're his kin.

Someone needs to remind these people that they'd be setting a precedent if they decide to go that route.
