That doesn't sound rapey at all.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Regardless of the truth of any of that, GC, it doesn't change the fact that I'm not interested in your god's love. No amount of hanging around my window at night and professing his love..or more accurately...sending -you- to profess his love (like that was ever going to work), or telling me that he will always love me even if I don't love him...that he will love me no matter where I go, that there is no place I can be to escape him....will ever make me love your god.
Pass this note for me, since you've got the line to the big guy. Lay off when the lady says no.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Me too. Tell him I'm not interested. He can just keep his God-dong in his pants.

Salvation is much more than going to heaven, most atheist believe that heaven is the only result and thus miss out on the reality of salvation. Salvation is having a loving relationship with God and He is the one who begins that relationship with love, it's why you hear Christians say, "savior and Lord," without the love salvation would be nothing. Again, because of what's at stake why do you chance you're the one that's correct.
My point is that no one can be certain that they are correct. Many believe that they are, yet they all found different gods or different versions of the same god. Many of them state that it is not difficult to find god, we only need to do A while having attitude B. But if you do not get the result they claim, they tell you that you did it wrong and they make it more and more complicated in order to cover all of the contingencies. The Abrahamic religions even make it so that people who get to know god directly or see him in action still reject him, which means that he is not impressive even in person. Does that make sense to you? I have to take such things in mind when I search for truth, it's one reason why I'm no longer religious.

Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

I'm surprised Yahweh would reward me for pretending to believe in him and pretending to think he's great, even though I think he's a dick, real or not. That's a weird system.
What about if the real God is going to reward the irreligious with paradise and punish everyone else by poking them with knitting needles? Why would you risk losing out? He doesn't like people making up silly stories about him, you see.

I know for a fact that God exists and that there are no other gods. God doesn't change so there are no other versions. As far as the false gods go, I would guess there are many different versions, whatever suits the individual works for them. The God of creation lays out for us who He is in the Bible and tells us He is unchanging, so there's only one God of the Bible even.

(A)I say as long as you seek God and (B) you will have to do it with an open heart, you will find Him. Then it's up to you to accept Him or not. I say many have found God and then rejected Him, and they want admit they have because they don't want people to know they have rejected Him for whatever reasons they might deem important.

I know of no one who has claimed to have actually known God and rejected Him. Isn't it obvious that this is true, look around on this forum, all those who claimed they were Christians and are now atheist say there is no God, so they couldn't have known Him in the true sense or they could only say they reject Him and will no longer follow Him.
I know Him and can't reject Him, that's why I will always be His child.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Can't reject him? So he forces himself on people huh.
I'd be happy to talk to him sensibly. I'm just not worshipping anyone. Plenty of other beings have relationships with me that don't require me to prostrate myself.

The God of creation lays out for us who He is in the Bible and tells us He is unchanging, so there's only one God of the Bible even. Nearly everyone who ever believed in any god felt the same way. We've had Muslims here making similar claims about Allah. Unless they can demonstrate it, it is only a fact for them. For the person looking from the outside, all the claims are the same-- they cannot be demonstrated in spite of the confidence with which they are made.

What do you mean when you say "open heart"?

I know Him and can't reject Him, that's why I will always be His child.
Satan knew God personally and directly, and rejected him. Adam and Eve knew God personally and directly, and rejected him. Judas knew God personally and directly, and rejected him. Around a third of the angels in heaven knew God personally and directly, and rejected him. The Egyptian Pharaoh saw God's hand in action throughout his entire kingdom, and defied him anyway. How many people saw Jesus perform miracles and give rousing speeches... and rejected him?
I am pretty sure that you have not gotten to know God as closely as those people did, yet you feel that you cannot reject him. Is it possible that you've made him out to be far more impressive than he really is? God cannot be very impressive if people with such close contact and experience with him rejected him. Some of them even knew that the price of their defiance was death! There are people throughout the Bible who preferred to die than to serve God. There is a significant disconnect here, IMO.
