Seriously, however, this might be useful. Hard numbers to show the percentage of such events compared to the overall number of crimes. There are people who would refuse to even see the second number, of course, but that's true on any such comparison when emotions ... trump ... reality.

The second number isn't going to be published as it'd go against Trump's agenda of blaming all of Ameica's ills on the filthy brown heathen furriners.

It wasn't the US authorities that helped the IRA anyway, it was a bunch of taigs from Boston mainly. I was implying that our Protestant friends would deal with them.

Which executive order is this? I tried to do a search, and didn't find criminals or anything about a weekly report.

I ask, because with this President, there appears to be a lot of distorted information flying around, and I find that if one checks up on the claims, that they do not pan out. Personally, I would like to see what the executive order actually say's (rather than "we all know what that means" and an editorialized report written for an agenda).

I'm all for discussing ideas and policy, but it's becoming difficult to tell what is actual, and that which is being over sensationalized, for a purpose. I think that eventually, I will just get to the point where I say "yeah the boy; is crying wolf again" and stop listening. Which is a bad thing

From both the context and a legal standpoint, I think that the term "alien" is referring to non-citizens (whether here legally or illegally).  I am unsure what exactly "removable aliens" entails.

Overall, I don't have a problem with most of it.   From some of the research in the officer involved shootings threads, it seems that ethnicity is already recorded for crimes.   I don't see the harm in including citizenship with this data. 

The main part, that would cause me concern, is the part in section 5b  about crimes which are unresolved.  This could be an area for corruption, but I would wait to see how it is executed (especially concerning legal aliens). 

It does appear, that with this President, that things will be more transparent then some of the past.

Especially for big cities, it is my understanding that Crime statistics are public.  Even in my small town, they are in the newspaper.

Frankly, I don't expect much to come of this, other than perhaps some criminals being deported.   And I could certainly agree, that a weekly report seems like overkill.
I would think that the majority who are just here illegally, probably try to keep their heads down, and go unnoticed.
