Regarding "irregardless" being a word. I dare say it is now, antidisregardless. That's kind of the strength of English as a language is that there is no arbiter of what is proper. I heard once that it was created originally as deliberate word-play humor. Respect-less of whether that is true. The reason most object to it is that the "ir-" and the "-less" are redundant. But I did attend a workshop on black english at which I was told that in some african languages the language works differently with multiple suffixes or prefixes being used for emphasis rather than logically cancelling out. You're the first to pronounce synecdoche right! You were also fairly close on litotes, too. Nice. And YEEEESSSS!! Puking animals will get you out of the deepest sleep to full on combat mode in less than a second! Been there. I might wait another week to do my vid and film it while I'm in Hawaii.
