Ashley Madison and gender differences
August 28, 2015 at 11:24 am
The data breach at Ashley Madison has revealed some shocking(!!) differences between the sexes.
To wit, a LOT, ok, many, alright, MOST, of the active subscribers on AM were men. Turns out it was a bunch of guys paying to talk with bots and among themselves rather than the statuesque babe in the profile picture. Many of the "female" accounts were created from the same IP address or by AM itself for testing purposes.

Quote:But here’s the really amazing thing: When Gizmodo went to see how many Ashley Madison users checked messages they’d received from other users, the website found a hilarious disparity that showed the ratio of men checking messages to women checking messages was 13,585 : 1. Seriously.
“Overall, the picture is grim indeed. Out of 5.5 million female accounts, roughly zero percent had ever shown any kind of activity at all, after the day they were created,” Gizmodo writes. “The men’s accounts tell a story of lively engagement with the site, with over 20 million men hopefully looking at their inboxes, and over 10 million of them initiating chats. The women’s accounts show so little activity that they might as well not be there.”
Men are from planet horn dog. Women are MIA.

The internet is the place that 40 year old men pretending to be 16 year old boys go to chat with 50 year old men pretending to be 13 year old girls. I though that this was already thoroughly established?

If it wasn't before it certainly is now - empirical data and all.
So how many of our "females" on this site are actually 50 year old men? Or bots? Hmmmmmm.........
And for all you know, I could be a 13 year old girl pretending to be a 56 year old guy. OMG! Totally!

I'm actually a horse.

I assure you I am a woman in her middle fifties. If I were to pretend to be anything, that wouldn't be it. Not that I mind being a woman in my fifties. It's just that in the sexual stakes, that's not exactly prime meat.

On the bright side, their wives have no reason to be mad at them.
I suspect that this Ashley Madison was an actual housewife who decided to start a website that would ensure all husbands spent time online and not out banging strange.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Seems to have been quite effective in a bizarre way. Working!
Reminds me of the SNL skit where the middle-aged housewife in dumpy clothes and curlers, with kids running around, was on the other end of a phone sex chat line.

I'm a girl, hoe.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."
