In other words, Idunno.
If I found you so totally lacking in sex appeal as to put me off the idea of ever boinking any other man again, would you want to know ??

Eh, I'm not everyone's type.
I've been hit on by both genders, which is certainly fine by me.

Most of my male relatives, for instance . .
I'd even bet there are guys out there that would be interested in knowing how to dress and act to further lower their potential appeal.
The thing is, I would imagine that if a man were totally repulsive to gay men, he would likely also be repulsive to straight women. If you want, you can set up a poll in a new thread with links to pictures of famous actors (with some of them unattractive), and have gay men and straight women rate them (so the poll options would be something like, "I am a gay man and Mr. X is attractive," "I am a gay man and Mr. X is repulsive," "I am a gay man and Mr. X is neither very attractive nor very repulsive," "I am a straight woman and Mr. X is attractive," etc.). My guess is that if done on a large enough scale (to avoid the results being skewed by outliers), for the most part, the men who are most attractive to gay men would also be attractive to straight women, and the ones most repulsive to gay men would be repulsive to straight women.
Now I am thinking maybe an online search for such a thing might be in order, to see if this has been tested or not.
EXCELLENT idea.
It would be interesting to see how many gay men and straight women agreed on which male celebrities are hot,
and which aren't.
I think it obviously depends on the person.
Tonnes of straight women think Brad Pitt is hot, for example,
and while I would never deny that he is a good-looking man,
I can honestly say that he does nothing for me;
but I venture to say that a lot of gay men would probably hit that, if they could,
as would many straight women.
I will throw out a few samples, now....all of whom I acknowledge are good-looking men,
but I don't really find them sexually attractive, personally:
Brad Pitt (obviously)
George Clooney
Johnny Depp
Ryan Gosling
Zac Efron
Jake Gyllenhaal
Will Smith
Jamie Foxx
Daniel Craig
James Franco
Ryan Reynolds
Ralph Fiennes
Harrison Ford
Matthew McConaghey
Matt Damon
Wesley Snipes
Denzel Washington
Jude Law
Ewan McGregor
Leonardo DiCaprio
Orlando Bloom
Gerard Butler
Bradley Cooper
David Beckham
Robert Pattinson
Hugh Jackman
Hugh Grant
Henry Cavill
Male celebrities I find somewhat attractive:
Clive Owen
Jason Statham
Benedict Cumberbatch
Heath Ledger
Alex Minsky
Antonio Banderas
Matt Smith
And male celebrities I definitely find attractive:
Viggo Mortensen
Hugh Laurie
Crispin Glover
John Cusack

Pyrrho: I've always been seen as an easy target for bullying, yeah I wasn't talking about friends insulting me. People did it all the time when I was at school. I minded my own business but people felt the need to come over and hassle me. At college (16-18) I enjoyed wearing a track suit to college, I found it comfortable. I was the only one who wore this, and for some reason a lot of people continually insulted me about it. They kept telling me to basically copy everyone else, but I refused.
As an adult it's happened less, but occasionally I still get people just randomly saying unpleasant things in the street. I'm way past caring and I just ignore it.

I highly doubt I am even attractive to gay men, and I am gay, though plenty of girls have informed me that I am too cute to be gay.
If I was attractive to gay men, then why are they not approaching me? I, in no way, send out a homosexual vibe.

Disappointing in that he's cute so you're disappointed? Or disappointing in that he doesn't come off gay enough?
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Lol. I didn't think about the second one being an option. I don't really require or even expect anyone to be a certain amount of gayness. Haha. He's just cute so I would have preferred him to be bi

Rob, it makes me angry that it's always the nicest, smartest people who get picked on by the idiots, and for no reason.
Sorry you had that shitty experience. I was bullied in school, too, but one chick pushed me too far when she picked on one of my friends, a tiny girl. I'm told that I hit the bully so hard in the face, that she actually left the ground and flew ass over teakettle...but I don't remember doing it, sadly. I just saw red. I'm not particularly proud of the fact that I lost my shit, even if it was in defense of someone defenseless, but the point is, they didn't bother me much after that.
not that I advocate it, I'm just saying it's funny how once they receive worse than they dealt out, they lose interest.
