DAMN IT!! I saw that dog again! I got home, drove into the drive way and there it was in my front yard! It wouldn't come when I kissed to it and by the time I got the garage up and back outside with a can of food for it it was gone.

On the plus side, about 10 more neighbors in the next neighborhood over know it's a stray and some of them saw it this morning so they'll try and entice it into get it home.

GRRR!!!! This poor dog has been lost for a week now.

CM maybe leave some food out for him/her so he'll keep coming back and get used to seeing you?

I quit FB again. I was away for two years. I know I can go longer this time.

The thing is, when I see it it's on its way out of the neighborhood so I don't have the chance to run into the house, grab a can of food and then lure it to me. And when I do that I can't find it after I've grabbed the food and go back out to find it. And if I leave food out that'll attract racoons and get eaten by the neighborhood cats long before the stray gets it.

The best I've been able to do is notify neighbors that there is a stray and to keep and eye out for it.

Poor thing. I hope someone lures him in and gets him back home soon.

I know. I really wish this pup wasn't so skiddish. I'm kind of to the point where I'm wondering if animal control should be called.

Had a tire blow out at 70 mph this morning just south of Portland. I'm fine. The car's fine. I only arrived at the art fair an hour late. But the adrenalin rush really took the mickie out of me. It's only eight-thirty and I'm ready to crash.

Glad to hear you're ok! Holy cow I know what you mean about the adrenaline. Fight or flight response be all like "I DUNNO THE MEANING OF EVERYTHINGS FINE." Also I am tired and about to go to sleep and dream about stuff maybe. Stuff like... umm... frolicking in a moon bounce or something. I'M TIRED DONT JUDGE ME

Finally did some beautification stuff today that I've been putting off for... well, since... about last august. Or... maybe longer. I've been really out of touch with taking care of myself... working on getting back to it. A lot more to do, on that though.... you don't just neglect yourself utterly for a year and change and get that dealt with all in one night, especially when you're just trying to get back into doing your basic hygiene (this is infact the first shower I've had since I got down here... hahh...).

I made curry today too, i'd never made it before, infact I don't think I've ever eaten it before... but I did a good job (checked a recipe for potato curry just to be sure that I knew what curry actually was, then murdered the recipe page and explored). It's good, but I overcompensated with the sauce... it was kind of soupy, so i slowly boiled it down. But I forgot something important: heat expands. Soo.... I overdid that, and now it's a bit more of a 'damp crusting' than a sauce... which is actually fine for the curry, but I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I left it soupier, and let it absorb into the brown rice.

Some wonderful things today... some pretty negative things today. Gonna try to be more reasonable with my night tonight... awake and doing staffy stuff at 0500 wasn't a great decision, really. Want to do it more tonight, but have to be careful to not consume my night with it. I don't really know what I'm feeling 'up to' right now, let alone what I'm really doing. One of those nights... and I can hear something real loud from the neighbor condo upstairs.
