27-27 3 seconds left with the Chargers on the 40 set for a field goal. They missed, but our stupid ass D jumped before the snap. They reset at the 30 and he hit it.
Ouch.

How 'bout this? Josh Scobee misses four field goals and an extra point in four games. He costs you two games.
You can't even put the FG team out there on 4th and 1 from their 33 because he can't hit anything. You lose in OT to a division rival, and at home.
You cut his ass but you still have to pay him $2 million.
You sign a guy who couldn't make the NY Giants team for league minimum. That's kicker #4 on the year. I fucking hate kickers.

I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around the "missed 5 kicks in 4 games" / "still owe him $2 mil" dichotomy. How does a kicker who can't kick get signed for that kind of money?
Sucks, man. I feel for you, but this seems more a problem with your personnel management.

After three years of doing it, but not getting it done, with offense, it's good to know we've got a defense that can carry the load while Kubes gets his running game going, or figures out he doesn't have the personel for his zone blocking scheme. Maybe Manning can Dilfer one.

Mentally preparing for the inevitable beat down on MNF tonight. Ugh I just wish we can at least make it competitive, but I'm almost certain Matthew Stafford might die tonight....

Man, the Lions have been on a roller coaster the past ten years. I remember one season they didn't win a game, or only won one? Next year you get Megatron and things kicked up. At least the Browns have been consistently horrible since 1999.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."
For context, this is the previous verse:
"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

No you remember correctly. 0-16. That was the year that fans put bags on their heads and walked out of the stadium.

And let's not forget that they went 2-14 the season after they went winless.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

No we must forget, it's the only way to go forward.

Hey, Detroit's defense doesn't look horrible here.
