Atheists, Do You Hope You are Right?

RE: Atheists, Do You Hope You are Right?
"Hope" is the wrong word.

And since I know at least 39,999 out of 40,000 Christian schisms are NOT the One True Faith and it is overwhelmingly assured #40,000 is wrong too (that's why it is not apparent which of the 40,000 is indeed, the entirely correct one) (unless of course it is the Congregation of Jehovah's Presbytery of Zion, in which case I get to say "I told you so!!") so what I'm getting at is, I know I'm right.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

It seems I made errors of judgment. I had no intention of editing quotes to misrepresent the positions of those whom I quoted. I felt that if I gave full quotes it would create a text wall out out of an already long post.I have nothing but respect for the people that I quoted and I truly believed that the parts are preserved represented the point made by the person.it's a bit late for me to retract and/or make corrections.
That makes sense. Thanks for explaining.

In taking a crack at your question, I hope that I am wrong in a general sense.
I'd like to believe that I and those that I love somehow continue after they've died, instead of accepting that everything that we ever were is gone once we're dead.

There's just no rational reason to believe that's possible.

What I may hope is irrelevant. I'm confident enough in my reasoning skills that I can sleep at night, knowing I've made the best choice possible with the information I have available to me.

Yeah, it will suck if I'm wrong. Vishnu is not the forgiving sort.

Well, now I feel real guilty. Cuz I lied... and also cuz I posted randomness quizzaciously.  Please forgive me, houseofcantor, and please forgive me, ChadWooters...if I could go back and delete it I would...but they don't give much time around here for us to correct our mistakes.

Why would I give a shit about what David supposedly did anyway?

I hope I'm right. Not for any other reason other than to know that I wasn't deluded the whole time...
But if I am wrong, I still reckon when God reveals himself to us, his name would be Kevin, operations manager at VR Sims inc.

Wrong about what? i mean we have no absurd claim like the god claim so uh yeah.... what are you trying to get across.
I can make the positive claim that every man made god doesn't exist including the biblical one i can also say that
there was no god required to make the universe and outside of that i cannot say if there really is a god or not.
So there might be a god not anyone would know of either way it's a absurd question.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.

I read that as "quizzaliciously".
