I didn't realize the origins of the universe
would be decided by a creative writing contest. I'm completely open minded, that means I will consider anything that has supporting evidence. By making unwarranted assumptions, you're shutting out vast areas of consideration; becoming closed minded by loading the question. By holding onto a "conclusion" based on no evidence and demanding people come up with better ones is to have entirely closed your mind.

Isn't Christmas Eve the WORST time to have that open? All the Christers will be home with their babies and the holiday celebrations (or taking their kids to the movies so they don't go nuts). The only people who have free time to jaunt down on vacation to the Creation Museum would be atheists and other heathens.

Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love. |
