The OP I hope does not think everyone here agrees with everything Dawkins, or Harris or Hitchens say. Do liberal black Baptist and white liberal Christians agree with white Tea Party gun hugger Evangelical Trump supporters? Both are Christians.

Now I do agree wit most of what the 3 I mentioned say. Dawkins is a bit of a stuffed shirt and nobody I would want to hang out at a bar with. Hitchens is dead right that ALL religions poison political discourse and divide humans. Harris is also right, and Ayaan Hirsi Ali would agree with him on Islam needing to learn to live with ridicule and blasphemy and stop trying to shut down a conversation. Former Muslims exist not just in the west, but many still live in the Asia/Arab world where they live under threat, and those who dare to question Islam whom came from it, WANT us to show their parts of the world that we support them.

Now civility is not about never getting offended. Civility is what you do when someone offends you. Far to many theists, and even many atheists as well intended as they may be, do not understand that when they insist on forced or self censorship they enable the violent people in all religions.

And I would suggest you read their books instead of judging them.
