A puppet of the U.S. installed by the CIA.

And possibly he will get replaced by another puppet dictator. But I really hope that doesn't happen.

Of course i forgot USA government is an asshole, sometimes i wish there was a better alternative than ally with it

There is. Don't ally with it.

I wish our government would stop being assholes. This empire they've constructed is neither moral, nor good for Americans, nor good for the world, nor is it even sustainable. Unfortunately, that's not going to change until we wake up and realize how badly we're being lied to. Propaganda is a powerful tool. It's not just Fox but much of the mainstream media is complicit.

There's a huge portion of my fellow Americans who are appallingly misinformed about what the facts are. They live in an alternate reality where there where Saddam has ties to Al Qaida, there are death panels in health care reform and tax cuts for the rich create job growth and pay for themselves (a strategy that has been tried and failed for 30 years now).

To ironically paraphrase Jesus, "forgive us world, we know not what we do."

America is not spectacular... But it's still better than Somalia.

To defend not being the best by stating one is not the worst...

what did Doug Stanhope say? "America being the best is like being the best waitress at Denny's... Just because you're the best doesn't mean you don't have a LOT of work ahead of you..."

Au contraire, parts of America are indeed spectacular.Mainly some of the bits in which there are no Americans. Most countries are the same.Humans fuck up a place faster and more thoroughly than any other animal.

Haven't been to Africa, but Somalia is not place I intend visiting before I die. Sounds like a pretty good place to be from.---which is how a native son once described Buffalo New Jersey to me,and how I would describe Melbourne.

Clearly I am making a sweeping generalisation here.

All of New Jersey is a good place to "be from," Padilove... Or as a Jersey boy I once knew said "I grew up there, but if I could pour gas on the whole state and throw a match on the way out..."
