I can understand his confusion. If he thinks stereotyping should be ignored then he should vote for "should not be challenged" or "Meh,Evie is best turtle"(If you like Evie xD) , you can easily edit you vote, I think.

My problem is that (1) the distinction you're drawing is unclear and (2) you have not specified what the question was supposed to mean and are now arguing against points people aren't making. I still stand by my earlier comment that ignoring and challenging stereotypes are not mutually exclusive and your poll options don't include the difference you're drawing between them in any case.

None of your options were good for answering the question. The first choice is the best available option.

Again, if you think stereotypes should be ignored vote for either "Should not be challenged" or "Meh, Evie is best turtle."
If you think "Should not be challenged" implies you don't want to do anything about it, then vote for "Meh, Evie is best turtle.".
Clear enough for you?

Again, your poll options suck and you don't get to tell people how they have to vote.
Also fuck you for talking to me like that. I don't know why you recently decided to become a jerk.

OP, did that in the 70's and 80's. To old now to challenge. Easier to ignore or side step. Functional eunuch.

Yes, clearly it is, because every direction in which you turn you will merely be called a sexist for it.  In case you didn't catch the game.  I'm not arguing with you....lol, I'm trying to keep you from stepping into the minefield in the first place by pointing out that it is, in fact, a minefield.  Pools fucking with you, just a little bit.....handing you a grenade and then smiling when it goes off in your hands.  Look at all the qualifiers you had to add to your previous statements......and if I  (or he) wanted to rib you about those you'd be forced to add even more.

A strange game, the only way to win....is to refuse to play.  Roger?

Yes, I did notice.   Undecided   But the challenges were correct, I need to gather my sources before I make assertions in a post.   Strange game indeed.

The fact that we’re on page 7 and you still have to explain to people which choices to make may be an indication that the choices are not clear in the first place. Neither Vic nor Losty is dull so your refusal to make your options clear is just another way of saying “Fuck y’all.” That’s not a very conducive way to encourage people to take your poll.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

I'd like to point out that gender stereotypes was not magically imposed by someone. These stereotypes(or rather characteristics) were formed as a result of thousands of years of evolution.

For example:
Quote:Personality traits —

For example, women are often expected to be passive, loving and caring, while men are usually expected to be aggressive, protective and dominant.

The reason women are inherently passive is because of their relative physical weakness when compared with men, in an world without laws a women being blunt to a man will usually end bad. The loving and caring characteristics are because females are usually the ones that breast feed the child which creates an intimate relation with a mother and her child.
The aggressive nature of men are not because of a stereotype. It's because of their relative higher testosterone in their body which attributes to aggressiveness, protectiveness and dominance. This helped men, in the old times to fend off other ill-intended males from harming their mate and children.

I guess my point is, these characteristics are not a result of gender stereotyping, these characteristics were formed as a result of thousands of years of years lived in the wild and in the society. So is it really smart to challenge them?

You only listed one example, only one. Most psychological differences between men and women are socially constructed.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
