It is important for me to challenge them and I automatically feel a connection to others who do the same. But those who don't challenge sex stereotypes can be people I like/admire as much or more. Basically, attitudes toward gender are neither a necessary nor sufficient predictor of who I'll find to be sympatico.

I can't really answer the question as posed as I can't think of any objective reason why everyone should do so.
