How well did Smoke's mouth/jaw heal? How long on soft food?

Nico is now constantly correcting 4 month old Lexy. Very loud growly bark then yelp then groveling. Freaks my wife out.

He seems to be completely heeled. The soft food regimen lasted four weeks as I remember. For the first two weeks I extruded it into his mouth with large, converted hypodermic. After that, he came out of the muzzle to eat the pureed food.

Heidi will rarely be fierce with him but she indulges him so much, and he pushes her a lot. I'm glad I got him while she is as active as she is, an older dog would really suffer from his activity level. Looks like she is going to remain quite a bit bigger than him. Athletically, she is more like one of your dogs than your typical Heeler or Aussi.
