We haven't heard from any other Kiwis so my hopes are still high that they are OK and the telecommunications issue is the only real problem. That is ONE who has checked in...there are at least four others (maybe more)...

On a positive note, watching the news reports, it's great to see the way people in Cc are just mucking in to rescue and help each other.

Renews my belief in people.

Pancaking buildings are my least favorite. Crapes are okay, but pancakes? I do not like pancakes. Crapes can have either jelly or sugar rolled up inside of them and are delicious. Pancakes are thick and sticky and icky like bloody corpses made into a paste >_<

Im fine, family in Christchurch pretty shattered, but all alive, homes damaged.

Oh I am sooo relieved!! Thanks for checking in DarkLady. All my hopes that Christchurch has a speedy recovery....and not too many more are 'lost'
