I did admit to freeloading and may have seemed 'proud' of it. So I didn't take it as ad hominem.
Void may go to his grave with that smug satisfaction he did his part to keep the rich richer and gave the man whatever the hell the man demanded of him. I seriously and with all honesty say 'Good for Void'. Whatever works for you.
My wish is he realizes I too will go to my grave with a smug satisfaction I didn't just roll over and hand over whatever the pukes demanded of me. I tried. I tried to negotiate in good faith. It was 'they' who would have no part of it. I will be just as proud on my death bed that the sap suckers didn't vacuum my life (a persons money is his life. In this world a persons money will dictate the life he has.) away. That I stood up and said "No".
Am I "PROUD" of my freeloading?
You see two tables with donuts. One table says "Free". The other says "$16.50 ea." You have a 20 in your pocket.
I'm guessing, to be consistant, Void would buy the $16.50 donut, he can afford it, and go to his grave smug in the fact he took responsibility for himself and paid for his donut. He would complain because he knows $10 of that goes to supply the free donut table for the freeloaders.
While he stands there bitching about it, yet paying the $16.50, I'll help myself to the free table and thank Void before departing.
At the end of the day we both have a donut in our bellies, Void is still miffed and I'm whistling my favorite tune as I stroll into the titty bar with my $20.
At the end of it all, we both still die. Probably with Void still being miffed about that fucking $16.50 donut he had to buy every month, and me with visions of titties dancing in my head.
Is that 'Pride' or it is just satisfaction with the path I've chosen?
I used to tell a lot of religious jokes. Not any more, I'm a registered sects offender.

Oh, by all means Void, government is not perfect. It's primary problem is that it can be purchased by rich fucks who then use it to oppress the people even more.
Still, in the battle between rich and poor the poor have no where else to turn.

The government are responsible for propping up the rich! You know the increasing disproportion in means between the rich and poor, do you think it's just a coincidence that it started at the exact same time as Keynesian economics got pushed full force?
We would all be better off under a more free and fair system.

In the US we can precisely date the enormous shift of wealth to the upper 1% with the election of that senile old fuck, Reagan. It has been a steady disaster ever since as the rich get richer and the poor get told to go fuck themselves.
I'm all for a free and fair system. You advocate a "free" but intensely "unfair" system. Personally, I would hate to be living in a country which allowed rich fucks to do whatever they wanted. The US today is bad enough.

But these damn libertarians don't get that. They have this fantasy where the "private sector" is a benign force and the "public sector" is a cancerous tumor.

Pay up front - you're never going to get any money afterwards. Tax it. If they can't pay... they don't get ill and the rest of us don't have to pay for them. Same with any recreational drug use. Sport evens out with benefits to health so doesn't count.

Impossible to implement in real life. Whether and how much one has smoked can not be adjudicated.

In your example if the two tables were run by the same company then I would select the free product. If they were competing companies then I would select the company that is marketing free donuts. That would be the only rational response to that analogy.
To line up the analogy with what you do, there would have to be just the donuts with the $16.50 price tag and you would be a sneak taking a donut on credit then refusing to pay the bill.
By the way, a clever man would buy the donut with real money and create somewhat real looking money to use in the dimly lit strip club. After all why defraud a hard-working donut vendor when you could fuck over some strippers, eh? Just say NO MA'AM!
