Oh the Irony.............

Oh the Irony.............
Christians rightfully siding with Dawkins, we agree, ISIS is basing their violence on their holy books. But lets forget about the history of Christianity, and it's justifications for slavery, genocide of Native Americans, sexism against women and condemnation of gays. No, see when they are dicks they are doing it for the correct god.

All holy books and holy writings are divisive. There are the empathetic left who uses them to justify kindness, and there is the violent right who picks out different words and calls it "self defense of the religion". But they all do it.

Yes, christian and muslim values are very similar. Secular laws and values have taken the fangs out of christianity, for the most part, but that doesn't mean it's so much better than islam. It's just been behaving itself a bit more.

This is what I don't like about ALL religions, no matter the label worldwide. Most humans get stuck on an umbrella idea, a label, and never want to pay attention to the fact that every religion has sub sects that compete as to how the label/writings should be followed.

Humans are mostly religious due to where they were born, and combine that with a lack of understanding that the reality is we are social and thus form groups to survive. Problem is that those ideas can be false just like the Ancient Egyptians were successful for 3,000 years centering their lives around non existent deities.

No you cannot force any religion out of existence, but humans really need too start facing this reality in order to manage differences in a more civil manor.

If our right wing had it's way and had a majority power, and there was no constitution stopping them, we would look like far too much of the Middle East. No, most Muslims are not terrorists, but they do have a big enough minority that is causing them problems. Our Christian right minority isn't to that level and only secular law has prevented them so far from getting that far. But they do still cause problems.

True, you can derive the same values as well as the same atrocities from all holy books. Unsurprisingly so, since they all come from the same region and it's paternalistic societies.

Oh and they really lover look the fact that there is christian terrorists organizations just as bad and even worse than ISIS that exists.
That media bias is something else let me name a few.

1. army of god

2. eastern lighting

3. LRA (lords resistance army)
There is words.. words that can be said.. LRA far more worse than ISIS far my deadlier
and even far more brutal than ISIS. ISIS can't even get to that level of brutality that the LRA
has even done. And they are a christian terrorist organization mind you.

4. The national liberation front of tripura
Another reason why christians should say the fuck away from developing countries.

5. the phineas priesthood
They are a supremacy enough said they don't really care if you are jewish christian atheist etc.

6. concerned christians...
well... i can say a lot or i can say a little... they well are the modern crusade of christians
they target a mosque tried to destroy it and convert jewish people in christians.

So yeah when christians get all huffy and puffy about ISLAM being bad which it is of course
you can say they are just a bad even worse in the case of the LRA.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization join today.

Really?!?!?

Show me a "Fang" of CHRISTIANITY by providing Book Chapter and Verse.

Keep in mind the Holy Bible repersents 2 Religions and not just Christianity. Meaning I'm asking for BCV for a 'Christian Fang, and not a Jewish one.'

As with Chad, show me where Christianity is calling for the death or harm of anyone.

I don't know what BCV christians have used to commit atrocities like the inquisitions, the Salem witch trials, and so forth and so on. I just know that historically christians have been plenty violent, and would continue to be today without secular values holding them back.

. . . 78,000 (and counting) self inflicted schisms has neutered the cause like no secular atheist movement ever could.

Too bad the Islamic hordes are so vigilant about decapitating their schismatics, it's holding them back from becoming palatable.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

It's OK when Christians do it.  Because their God, which is the one true god, commands it.  Or something.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.
