I was hinting at that myself. Being abused is one of the steps in creating a sociopath. According to forensic and behavioral science. There hasn't been one serial killer who hadn't been abused as a child. Sexualy, violently or psychologically. Not mutual exclusive, of course.

While I disagree about the memory of five year olds, punishment that cannot be related by the "victim" to a misdeed and thus comes completely out of context, is the recipe for disaster.

Even when training dogs, it's a total no-no because what you will get is a neurotic aggressive dog who still hasn't learned the lesson.

I was abused as a kid both by my biological father and my adoptive father. Hitting a kid to get them to behave is rule out of fear, and while it may work with some, when my parents did that to me it made me more destructive and insecure. I still suffer today from trust issues as a result of that abuse. What you think a kid can handle does not make you a clinical psychologist. 

Kids are not property they are human beings, individuals and while parents are there to discipline them, they are not property. But this is what I come to expect from you, the same immoral authoritarian "obey me or I will beat the shit out of you" rule by fear God you worship.

FUCK YOU, I know what authoritarian parents were like and I suffered from it. Drich if you really love authoritarianism move to North Korea or Saudi Arabia. But when it comes to children you don't ever use blanket solutions because children are individuals.

I don't think adult women that crave spankings is as a result of getting spanked as children and associating the behavior with love and care. That's just laughable bullshit. It's a submissive thing, anyone that knows anything about this should know that. When the "right" guy comes along all women get all giggly and child like with their cute like demeanors so the guy becomes someone they completely trust themselves with. You can not judge all kids by your experience with your own. Some kids do respond well to reason while other simply do not have the mental capacity to do so. Again pain is the great equalizer. even the slowest of the slow can equate pain as a no response.

The point is I hate that school with a passion. It's been almost 3years since I graduated from there and even now whenever the thought of that school crosses my mind, my blood boils at 200 centigrade.
It's also worth to mention, the beatings didn't make me a good little sheep as they'd have expected, it in turn made me further rebellious,a word of caution to anyone employing physical discipline - boys usually revolt even more and the girls grow up to be adults that are so introverted and scared to even talk aloud with 0 self confidence.

their dicipline had to be met with a greater consistent force at home for it to be effective. those who were only disiplined at school knew how to 'act' under the eye of authority.
