Of course, that shithead preacher should not then complain if some muslim shoots him in the fucking head, should he?

I don't think he can complain if a muslim shoots him in the head.

Quote: Minimalist Wrote: Generally I agree with what you wrote, Rayaan. However, you might pause to give some thought to the fact that muslims are so easily manipulated into acting like murderous fools by silly gestures like this. It is easy to pull your strings because you DO overreact to bullshit like this.

Well I agee with that also, a lot of the Muslims are easily manipulated by things like this.

And I believe that the reason for such violence is mostly caused by socio-political related issues than anything else because it varies from one place to another.

Yes Rayaan, absolutely. The vast multitude of your people are oppressed by their own religious rulers to enable those leaders....and the politicians they support...to maintain power. You would think that a guy like Karzai would have bigger fish to fry than worrying about what some shit-for-brains preacher does 12,000 miles away. But it was Karzai who saw ( and grabbed ) an opportunity to fire up his people over, basically, bullshit. He runs a government which has no control 1/4 of a mile from the outskirts of Kabul. Perhaps this is his way of trying to broaden his base by out-Talibaning the Taliban? So what if a few more Afghans die in the process. They drop like flies every day.

If someone told me that praying in public on youtube would cause people's death or that there would be blood on my hands because of it, I wouldn't do it. Especially if the threat is realistically going to be carried out. Yes I would also put some culpability on the pray-er but the majoity of course would be on the individual killing. Both of your examples, in my mind, are being careless. The first is careless because it's plausible that they could and have hurt people in the past, the second for the same it's just more direct. I refuse to be careless with other people's lives. If somone said I would die for praying in public, then I would pray. It's alittle rebellious of me, which is typically out of character. It would also be careless and reckless, but only with my life and therefore I could justify it.
He couldn't get people to join his church, and buy into his doctrine of hate, other than his family so he went and turned inciting known already angry, terrorists (not a majority, but some are) who already warned him what would happen once. Then they backed down, got some guns, and did it anyways. Then he hid behind free speech and his religion to justify the fact he intentionally incited people knowing some would die, for publicity, that didn't even work for getting him more people paying him tithe. I'm not a lawyer, he does have the first amendment right to express himself. If what he did is not criminal, it should be.

I find it just sad and pure disgusted that they act this way over a stupid burned book. I mean if a Muslim did this too a bible you know that the fucking fundamentalists, evangelists and some hard core non denominanational Christians would be going fucking crazy right now. Maybe not killing people....maybe....but they would defiantly be protesting for their lives right now. It’s just sickening to see what a fucking book can do to these brainless believers. I mean if the bible and Koran have this sort of hold on people then in my personal opinion they fucking deserve to be burned. It’s just fucking pathetic.

For Man to move forward we must throw away religion, and put it in the Mythology section, and then use Reason, Logic, and Common sense to solve all our daily problems. That's a Higher Level of Thinking.

The issue is not about the burning a single copy of the Quran. It is about the idea it represents, the hate, the total division of humankind. A person who has no appreciation of the diversity of mankind and the unity of the world in spite of the differences we represent and who desires nothing but an absolute annihilation of all that he deems different to his belief set, is the person capable of such an act.

However, such persons are not confined just to this pastor only as they are present amongst many other groups and adherents of religion including Islam and the history of the world shows that such people with so much hatred and arrogance in their hearts will never prevail.

So long as Islam or Christianity is gaining adherents hatred and arrogance is prevailing. Arrogance and hatred are the Sine quibus non, however disingenuously disavowed and shabbily disguised, of Judaism derived monotheistic theologies.

Hatred only increases the fuel for Islam to shine. Either way, it's a not a loss for the believers except for the most radical ones who will tend to self-destruct, one way or another.

Islam has only ever "shined" in the modern world through its consuming hatred of everything that is better than itself. It has rivaled and even surpassed Christianity as the chief disgrace of mankind.

Min, your heart and head are in the right place. It isnt easy to deny the heart when it comes to the rights of others. I PERSONALLY think this pastor should have let it be. But my mind, my social aspects of thought, realize the importance of the bill of rights. If I condemn this man, then I leave myself open to be condemned.

If a Muslim shoots him in the head, that will be murder.

If the Muslim shoots him in the head, it would not reduce his brain function.
