Naked. All right then. But just because you say so and, you know, "crazy lady with a scalpel" kind of implies that I can't say no.
Do I have to take my shell off?

Naked.
That will produce a liquid but I doubt it will be considered rain.

Somedays I really wish that movie The Purge could be legal. Just for one freaking day. Just one. That's all I need.
Funny thing is, my friend and I were just talking about this Monday night. He had a list of people he would totally Purge. Some were just "fuck it, one shot to the head, just get them out of the way," but there was one person we both know he said he'd take his time on. He's so Southern in his speech (sweet drawl) and intellectual that I was dying of laughter listening to him be vicious.
My choices were, with the exception of one, all about putting some people out of their apparent misery. You know the kind - everything that happens to them is never their fault, their whole family and all past lovers are narcissists (ever notice how the only common denominator in those situations is that they are not one?), they waffle from extreme self-motivation memes and self-congratulations on being 'happy' and then have nothing but whining about how unfair life is. There are at least two of those - the kind of people who want to out-suffer you whenever someone is recounting something bad in their life and never want to hear of solutions. Sometimes, I'd just like to ease their suffering.

I appreciate your kind words, but it is filled with flaws -- it's my first attempt at this sort of thing, and the pics do not show the flaws -- plenty of wood-filler saw action (wood-filler is not your friend), the sanding was done ineptly so that marks can be seen on close inspection. The grill-cloth is not mounted straight, which is a particular emabarrasment for me because I've got experience stratching canvas paintings over frames, I should have gotten that part right.
But it's a learning process, it will certainly not be the last cabinet I build, and every mistake in it will be the root of improvement.
I took pics throughout the build, am pondering starting a thread for it, and other projects like it as they come up.
Know who's an extremely skilled carpenter? GC.
The dude can probably build anything. Likes talking about it, too.
If you start a thread, I bet he'd be good for a few pointers/ideas.
I wouldn't have ever guessed your work was a first attempt, if you hadn't said anything btw; It looked quite nice to me.
Of course, anything I've ever built came in a box...with lots and lots of 'extra' screws.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I'd like to know what your shirt says. All I can make out is something "rapidly growing" or other.
