You have a dog at home that's half and half and you're a "dog lover".
I have half a dog at home and I'm a "potential danger to the public!"
Typical!

Should have buried both halves in the neighbors yard.

Dammit Beccs you get me every time!
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Do I make you laugh?
If yes, my job here is done.
If no, there's still room in that yard.

Watered my fledgling lawn earlier.
Now it looks like it's going to rain. Of course it's going to rain.

I dyed my 6 year old son's hair blue today and my 7 year old daughter has pink and purple tips. I'm one of those moms now.

The primary cat is 6.
We had a similarly somnolent cat in the 80s. That furball was legendary for his laziness.
Had him to the vet to get checked, just in case?
Quite a bit of it is I've moved his bed in the living room out to where I can see it, and I've also taken to sending him to his quarters when he's out in the kitchen snoozing on one of the chairs where no one can see him. So, when he's out and snoozing, he's exclusively doing it where I can see. Wiki says cats can sleep up to 18 hours a day, and I'd say he's probably right there.
He hasn't shown any changes in behavior when awake, still eating and pooping at normal rate, and is actually about as calm and unjumpy as he's ever been.
He was a feral rescue, over 10 months old when i snagged him. During hiis first several years as a house cat he was hyper twitchy and hyper vigilant. He's "normal" in that regard now.
He's as close to a perfect cat as has ever been here.
