That's kinda douchey, dude.
If I have violated etiquette or have personally offended in any way, you have my sincere apologies. I intentionally didn't provide attribution since it wasn't my intent to impugn individuals, but provide counterpoint to an underlying theme in the thread. Your comment just happened to be a memorable example as I was replying to another post. Now that you have called this out, I can easily see how this may be perceived as underhanded; however, my intentions were otherwise.
Thank you, Cato.

No one would or should risk it if you put human life above all others.
That's a topic for another day.
Oh, you're a psychic now. Congrats.
Of course not, that's for the woo lovers.
But maybe you are for assuming it can't happen.
Tel us, how will you guarantee the boys survival?

By telling the crowd to shut the fuck up and giving the gorilla the benefit of the doubt.

You cannot possibly know this with any certainty. The ease with which some dismiss the decision by professionals in the field with daily interaction with Harambe is misplaced at best. Have you not considered how agonizing it must have been for the staff at the Cincinnati Zoo to take the course of action they did? I cannot imagine that it was done flippantly or with malice.

I am not going to be wrangled in by your emotional ramblings. I prefer to rely upon the rational arguments supported by those who study animals for a living.
And, in fact, I can imagine that there was no agonizing in place. That idiot who pulled the trigger to kill that gorilla should have known better. After all, no one is buying the news story that it takes half an hour for a tranquilizer to take effect.

Yeah, that would have gone over well.

I believe the word was "shut the fuck up." In which in a situation when emotions are running high will likely have the opposite effect. Yelling "shut the fuck up" will create more noise and may likely end up in a brawl.
