For example, Michael H. Hart.

Hi ruhollah, and welcome to the forums (if it is not presumptuous for me to welcome you, being a newcomer myself!). Would you consider Michael H. Hart to be a Qur'anic scholar? Could you provide examples of scholarly articles that he has written about Qur'anic interpretation or early Islamic history? From a quick perusal of the internet, he seems to be primarily an astrophysicist who is famous for putting Muhammad at the No. 1 spot in his book on the Top 100 most influential people.

Hi Eleazer, thank you for your salutations!

I will have to get back to you and Napoleon. Currently I do not know of any non-muslim Qur'anic scholar off the top of my head. Napoleon's post give the impression that Google doesn't show any results.

Maybe Saturday I'll come back on this forum and provide you guys a list.

Happy Easter btw

Gerd Puin, John Wansbrough, Patricia Crone and Michael Cook would probably be the most famous.

As I mentioned, we believe that the monotheistic message was delivered to all nations/cultures in their own language. However we also believe that some of these messages were manipulated or outright ignored.

Today, most of the mainstream religion (including budisim, hinduisim, ...etc.) have elements that are in line with the monotheistic ideology. Any religion is good if you want a list of morals to follow when you are in a dilemma.

This religion has its guidelines in a book that has not been manipulated since its origin. Why? Because the original book is stored securely in a museum.

This religion has specific guidelines in all aspect of life unlike most mainstream religions. Such a guide will help you keep safe from debt, addiction and unhealthy lifestyle.

Here are some tangible examples:

1. Money must be backed by Gold/Silver. If this can't be done, then be backed by some hard commodity.

2. Financial transactions must share profits/loss. No interest/usury transactions what so ever. It is prohibited to devalue a nation's currency.

3. There is a certain way you are suppose to feed and slaughter cattle/chicken/lamb, ...etc. This approach helps keep the meat safe. Example, there are no instances of mad cow diseases in the Islamic nations. There is much less cancer rate in those countries compared to the west.

4. There is a certain way you are suppose to farm vegetables/fruits. Genetically modified food is against this religion.

5. Gives clear guidelines on alcohol ,drugs and gambling, to keep a follower from harming themselves and others.

... these are just some small examples.

In fact, these 5 guidelines is what the business world in the west hate the most.

They can't make big profits in debt-based finances, alcohol, gambling, drugs, casinos, GMO crops, ...etc. if you follow these 5 guidelines. This is why its demonized so much.
