The heavy day

RE: The heavy day
We agree; life can be shit. And?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Too disgusting and bitter, it signifies something.
And too good sometimes, it also signifies something.

Yes, and that "something" is nature, not a fictional sky wizard. The good and bad humans go through are not the result of mythology and old unscientific books. Life does have good and bad in it, but none of the good or bad is a result of magic.

The long term science proves that humans in cosmic time don't matter. What is significant is the time we have now. No it isn't sexy to think about, but accepting our finite ride DOES have the benefit of focusing on the time we do have. Accepting reality is about giving up on old and bad claims. Questioning social norms is why we no longer believe the earth is flat, and why nobody believes in Apollo.

I promise you you won't get smited, or smoted, and there is no hell to be threatened with. Try considering that you got it wrong. That was then, this is now. It was understandable that people made those bad claims back then, but we have advance since then. It is ok to give up on old claims.

There was never a god of any label, all god claims in our species history are merely the product of human's projecting their own qualities on non existent things.

And I thought it was going to be a thread on menstruation.

Sigh . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

RE: The heavy day
There is arguments I can make for the day of judgement.  But usually whenever we discuss such arguments, people, are always going back to square 1, in which it's asked why to believe in God, spirit, soul, etc, in the first place.

I wanted to discuss proofs of Prophethood and Guiding Leadership on behalf of God in general, and the particular proof of religion of Islam. But again, people are not willing to go past square 1 which is about whether or not we have good reasons to believe in God/soul, etc.

I've been busy with university and going to the gym. This is why I'm not posting much on the forums.

I do plan on making youtube videos soon that will be a series of arguments about God, then oneness of God, then Prophethood and revelation, and particular arguments about specific religion and what it must have, then Leadership and guidance on behalf of God within that religion and the negation of all authority besides that of God's.

I think I can explain things better and shorter and more concise in words, then in writing. We'll see.

Lol no. I could never forget that sweetie pie

I'll tell you what, if you ever can convince me I am deluded in any shape or form about my faith in God and religion, I will visit you one day. That's a promise.  Heart

But I think I've reached the point of no return.
