I know all too well about ankle injuries. I did this one back in march at a trampoline park. Ankle is still not 100% and I can't run without pain. Doctor said it will be 8-12 months before it's fully healed.

Damn, man!
That looks like torn ligaments (in my totally non-expert opinion!) (June 24, 2016 at 10:39 am)pocaracas Wrote: Damn, man! Yes sir it was. I tore one and severely strained the other two. Still tender to the touch 3 months later.

Sorry for your lingering pain and disability, kingy. I suffered a hyper extended knee last summer. I'm still dealing with that although the last cortisone shot has given me almost normal range of motion and use .. at least for now.

While the ankle pain was pretty sharp and painful (and still at times), what hurt more was when my 11 year old daughter gently put a hand on my shoulder and said, "Dad, next time we come you should bring a book and sit with older dads." #oldshaming Granted she said it in jest and to make light of the situation (kid has my sense of humor) but despite still believing I'm 20, my body kindly reminds me I'm closer to 40...

Listen to her, kingy. You'll enjoy your body more when you're 60 if you stop thrashing it so hard when your 40.
