Heh. Even I'm not really into the animated bits like that, so you aren't alone. Try out Episode 7 though. It's a call-back to the originals and it's not hiding it. It bares no resemblance to 1, 2, or 3 for what it's worth.

Neither was I.

Until I watched a few episodes of Clone wars.

Rebels, being Disney, is more oriented towards kid and younger audiences, is still a pretty good series.
