It's not a joke lol. I really hate when people do that. If the light is green you're supposed to go, no one is coming from the other way.

I just force myself to wait at the light even if there's no cars in the entire town.

Why would someone do that unless the lights were invisible or they were hallucinating cars? Lol!!
